Integrated research, development and extension for regional NRM
The objectives of SE04 were to:
- identify, develop and support the implementation of processes for progressing long-term collaborative regional, RD&E partnerships with regional communities to achieve sustainable regions
- identify and secure agreement on the role of RD&E institutions in NRM
- provide a policy framework for improved integration and coordination within government of collaborative RD&E effort
- develop a framework to support RD&E funding for progressing NRM in NAP regions.
This project was completed in December 2005. A final paper outlining the principles of successful collaborations between NAP regional bodies and RD&E providers is now available. Contact the project leader for more information.
