This project:

Project staff are also available to help regional bodies with the ongoing consideration of social and economic impacts and understanding of social and economic data.

A number of products for regional NRM bodies have been developed through this project:

Regional agricultural profiles

Regional agricultural profiles transform data based on the Australian Agricultural Assessment 2001 and the Census of Population and Housing 2001 into easily accessible information to be used when undertaking NRM activities.

Find out which profiles are available.

Queensland Regional Groups Information System

QRBIS is a database developed for regional NRM bodies to help them develop their plans and investment strategies. QRBIS includes time-series and census-based data that have been best fitted to each region.

NB: to ensure regional bodies are able to access the data at no cost, they must use their password. If you have forgotten your password, or would like more information on QRBIS, email the project leader.
