Capacity assessment guidelines & literature review

Capacity assessment for regional NRM: Capacity assessment tool and guidelines

These guidelines were developed to help regional NRM bodies assess the overall level of capacity in their region. It includes aspects of capacity such as the level of cooperation between people involved in NRM; the extent of networks and contacts; community engagement; and the sharing of knowledge and development of skills.

Development of capacity awareness for NRM regional arrangements: Literature review

This literature review identifies the components of capacity that support the achievement of NRM outcomes. It summarises the limitations of capacity and draws on existing approaches to measuring community capacity. Finally, a practical capacity assessment tool for assessing these components of capacity is provided.
