Recognition of Q2 Coasts and Country guidelines
All projects funded in full or in part by the Q2 Coasts and Country initiative must acknowledge Q2 Coasts and Country in all promotional activities, including but not limited to:
- events and announcements, both state and local (at all project stages/phases)
- media releases
- media activities
- public relations activities, including workshops and conferences
- display materials, including banners, posters and on-ground project signs
- publications, including reports, case studies and fact sheets
- websites, including all NRM body website home pages.

Acknowledgement of funding partners

Q2 Coasts and Country should be referred to in text in media releases, speeches, display materials, publications and other materials as follows:
This project is supported by [project proponent’s name], through funding from the Queensland Government’s Q2 Coasts and Country.
If there has been more than one funding body, the following wording should be used:
This project is supported by [project proponent’s name], through funding from the Queensland Government’s Q2 Coasts and Country and [other funding body’s name].
If the project proponent has also provided funding, the following wording should be used:
This project is partially funded through [organisation name] and the Queensland Government’s Q2 Coasts and Country.
2. Logos:
All display materials, publications, websites and (where possible) media releases should also include the Queensland Government logo.
If projects have been funded by both the Australian Government and Queensland Government the Q2 Coasts and Country logo should be used in conjunction with the Caring for our Country logo.

Whenever the logo is used the acknowledgment text (see no.1) above must be referred to within the content.
Grants administrators
When administering a devolved grants program, market-based instrument or incentive payments from Q2 Coasts and Country funds, grants administrators must refer grants recipients to www.regionalnrm.qld.gov.au to obtain recognition guidelines for their contracts.
