Regional NRM bodies

Queensland has 12 regional NRM bodies in 14 regions. These groups develop regional NRM plans and organise on-ground works and community events. They are run by boards that represent a wide range of community interests and employ paid staff and volunteers.

You can get involved by nominating for a position on the board, as a volunteer or as a participant in activities the regional bodies organise. Contact the regional NRM body in your area for information on how you can get involved in NRM.
