There are many ways to get involved in regional natural resource management. Regional NRM depends on local people and local communities getting involved, as volunteers, paid workers or participants. Landholders play a vital role in managing our natural resources. Landholders can get involved in NRM by joining a local community NRM group, like Landcare, joining an industry association or applying directly for funding for a project that will protect or restore the natural resources of their property.
Contact your local regional NRM body to find out how you can get involved.
Working in NRM
