Regional natural resource management

Regional coordination groups

Regional coordination groups are made up of senior management representatives from various state government departments, including Natural Resources and WaterPrimary Industries and FisheriesEnvironmental Protection Agency; and Local Government, Planning, Sport and Recreation.

The RCGs foster strong community-government partnerships, coordinate whole of government processes and policies, and resolve policy inconsistencies at the regional level.

Representation of government departments on RCGs varies from region to region.
