What are the the Natural Resource Awareness Activity Grants?
Community NRM groups
An important part of regional natural resource managment is the participation and involvement of community NRM groups such as Landcare, Bushcare, Coastcare, Rivercare, Friends of... and Catchment Management groups.
Community NRM groups form partnerships with regional NRM groups and local governments to promote and achieve healthy regions.
To find your nearest group, or to find out more about volunteering in NRM, contact Queensland Water and Land Carers (QWaLC).
QWaLC is the peak body representing community NRM groups by providing support and promoting the achievements of these groups. QWaLC is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation.
For more information please email QWaLC's executive officer.
The Queensland Landcare Foundation (QLF) helps community NRM groups access funding, resources and support. The QLF works with businesses and other interested parties to help build partnerships with community groups. The QLF is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation.
For more information email the QLF's executive marketing officer.
