The State of Queensland is committed to protecting user privacy. We understand that visitors and users of this web site are concerned about their privacy and the confidentiality and security of any information they may provide to us.
The Queensland Government has established a privacy regime for the Queensland public sector based on the eleven information privacy principles in Information Standard 42, which agencies are required to adhere to. A copy of this standard can be accessed online.
When you view this web site, our server records your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes only—the user's server address; the user's top level domain name (for example .com, .gov, .au, etc.); the date and time of the visit to the site; the pages accessed and documents downloaded; the previous site visited; and the type of browser used. No attempts are or will be made to identify users or their browsing activities except where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect activity logs in the event of an investigation.
